Our company is seeking a Manual QA Engineer for a full-time role in Nis.
What you are going to work on:
Join the team of Manual QA Engineers supporting the company’s flagship product, the RUBY Portfolio Management platform, developed in house using a .NET back end and Angular front end. This job includes creating comprehensive test scenarios and test cases and conducting manual testing using different methods in collaboration with other teams.
Your responsibilities:
- Creating comprehensive test scenarios and test cases for the entire system, focusing on the provided specification
- Conducting manual testing using methods such as functional, regression, end-user perspective testing, or verification testing
- Performing daily and monthly activities to ensure data consistency in the end-user environments
- Conducting various types of testing to detect defects
- Efficiently reporting defects and tracking their progress using appropriate tools (Azure DevOps, Microsoft Office, internal software solutions)
- Reviewing, updating, maintaining and improving documentation
- Communicating with other teams, developers, and managers to create adequate strategies and test plans to ensure code quality
- Participating in the software development process by highlighting areas of the system that need improvement and reporting defects
- Close collaboration and work with the automated testing team
- Communicating with clients, conducting comprehensive research, and analyzing client requirements and needs to achieve project goals
- Providing suggestions and ideas for improving existing functionalities or introducing new ones
Required qualifications:
- Bachelor’s of Science in Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics or other technical field
- 2+ years of experience in Manual QA testing
- Quick learning and analytical skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Excellent Excel skills
- Fluent in English, spoken and written
- Great attention to details
- Knowledge of SQL is a plus
- Previous work with financial software is a plus
